Jennifer and Justin have been through a lot to find each other. If you don’t believe in destiny take Jennifer out for a cup of coffee and hear her story of how these 2 hearts found each other and love that will last a lifetime. A love they had both been searching for. Pain and heartache have a way of helping us savor the simple blessings and true depth that relationships can hold. In the pictures below you will see two soul mates who are best of friends. There was an extra blessing in this wedding too because now their kids have new brothers and sisters. So although divorce happened and it wasn’t easy, now Jennifer and Justin know they are right smack in the middle of what they believe to be God’s will for their life and family. Which is a pretty awesome place to be. We are excited for them as they embark on this journey of love together. And know each day will get together with time.

Jennifer’s wedding color was hot pink. So reflective of her personality. Bright and beautiful!

Well wishers could not help but gush when they saw Jen rocking this dress.

These 2 beautiful girls were so excited to become sisters. Watching them help each other get ready was precious.

Mom was excited as her missing brooch was found. You never know what can and will go wrong or right on a wedding day.

You can just feel the bond between these 2.

Lisette + Eric//Stunning Downtown Orlando Ceviche Wedding

Mr. and Mrs. Barteau became husband and wife in a beautiful ceremony on April 28, 2012 in downtown Orlando at Ceviche. There was much celebrating, dancing and laughter as everyone felt their contagious love lifting them high. It was a beautiful time and a wedding we will never forget. Thank you Eric and Lisette for letting us be a part of telling your love story. We’re so glad that you found each other!

Eric chose the perfect gift for his bride! She was thrilled!

And likewise Lisette chose the perfect gift for Eric! We were not surprised, one of the secrets to this couple’s happiness is how thoughtful they both are.

Stephanie + Anthony//Lake Mary Events Center Wedding

Stephanie + Anthony celebrated their love in front of family and friends in a beautiful ceremony in the Lake Mary Events Center Rotunda. It was a day fit for a queen and her king. The love that they have for one another was visible to everyone who was fortunate enough to attend. For those of you who missed out we hope that this blog post comes close to doing the beauty of the day justice and conveys the emotions that were overflowing.

Sometimes the little details make all the difference.

Anthony has such a warm heart as evidenced by the welcoming hug above and the note that made his bride cry below.

Stephanie new how to rock her dress. It perfectly reflected her personality.

After the ceremony and family pictures we stole the newlyweds away for some intimate moments in front of our camera.

It is so beautiful how true love makes a person glow from the inside! Stephanie was radiant as a bride should be.

After the reception we snuck back outside to play in the beautiful light as the sun was setting. Here are the images from those moments.

With Stephanie being such a talented dancer she has grace and poise whenever she moves.

And now for the reception.

First dance as husband and wife.

After the first dance these ladies rapped Anthony and Stephanie’s love story to the song “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”. EVERYONE was cracking up. Best maid-of-honor speech…EVER!

The dance floor was hot all night long.

At the very end of the night, Anthony pulled his bride off to a corner where they danced the night away, completely lost in their love for one another.

Off to the honeymoon. Oh what a night.

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Koscielecki!!! Thank you for letting us celebrate your day with you and our camera’s.

It will only get better as your love ripens with age.

Lisette + Eric//Downtown Orlando Ceviche Wedding Sneak Peek

Lisette + Eric became husband and wife this past Saturday in an intimate ceremony in Downtown Orlando at Ceviche where they pledged their love in front of dear family and friends. It was absolutely beautiful (just like Lisette) and then the reception that followed was A-MA-ZING!

Stephanie and Anthony are a very special couple and we have been looking forward to their wedding for months and months! The weather had been beautiful up until 2 days prior to the wedding when the baby April monsoon decided to come through Lake Mary. While rain is great to edit pictures with it is not so great to take them in. Immediately, we began to pray for sunshine. Early Sunday morning was full of thunder and lighting but come Sunday afternoon there was nothing but beautiful weather for this couple to come together with friends and family at the Lake Mary Events Center and celebrate how great their love story. Here is a little sneak peek of some of the special moments from the day.

Bri + Cory // A 50′s Pin Up Inspired Casa Feliz Winter Park Wedding

Brianne + Cory were recently married on February 18, 2012 and we were honored to photograph their special day. We had been anticipating this wedding because we love Bri and Cory and their unique style. Not to mention being around them is just so much fun! To hear a bride’s vision for a wedding and then see it come to a reality is an amazing experience. When Bri first shared with us her ideas for her 50′s pin up inspired wedding we knew this was going to be a fun one to photograph, there is just something so great and glam about the 50′s look.

These first few images do not showcase the classic glamour we just referenced. Yes, that really is a tattoo needle. We had some seriously committed groomsmen here. This was the first time we’ve ever started a wedding day with photographing groomsmen all getting matching tattoos. These committed guys met bright and early and one by one got their spark plug tattoo in a show of solidarity. Not quite as dramatic or painful, the ladies opted for a more traditional approach to kick-off their big day with manicures and pedicures. As morning turned to afternoon all the details from months of planning fell into place and Bri and Cory’s love story reached a new climax, Casa Feliz style. We hope you enjoy these pictures of their very special day full of love, hope and endless possibility.

And now for that glamour we were talking about…

A beautiful vibrant bold classic red was a theme throughout the wedding.

This was THE DRESS that completely encapsulated Bri’s amazing personality. Isn’t it beautiful? Love the lavishly textured style.

Sometimes it’s the little things that say so much about a wedding.

Those eyes….those lips…..Can you say va-va-voom!

Cory was a groom who could not wait to just be with his bride.

Everyone was excited to see the beautiful bride as she sashayed down the stairs to her debut outside.

It was a beautiful day for a wedding to be shared with close family and friends unlike what the weatherman forecasted.

Bri was all aglow with beauty and grace as her and Cory committed to love one another in front of friends and family.

If you look closely on her bouquet you will see an absolutely exquisite pin that was Bri’s something borrowed and blue.

And now for some reception details…

Amazing cupcakes and a fun candy bar delighted all the guests.

Lots of great times were had by guests as they danced the night away.

The night ended beautifully. And we can’t help but think it is a sign of good things to come that Kris and Bri both have the same anniversary now. Wishing you the best Bri and Cory. So delighted that love found its way to your hearts. Just remember, the best is yet to come!

DIY Wedding Decor: A “Sweet” Sign for your Dessert Bar

Today, we want to share a quick DIY project from Kate’s wedding. Recently, Sweets & Desserts Bars have been making their mark in weddings around the country. James and I (Kate) chose this yum-filled wedding staple as an alternative to a large wedding cake & used it to share family recipes with our guests. (I designed little recipe cards that guests could take with them to make their favorite dessert at home.)

To help decorate my dessert table, I ran to our local craft store – Joann Fabrics – and picked up medium sized cardboard letters (@ about $2 per letter) & decided to glam them up a bit so that they would catch the soft market lights & christmas lights we used the table.

Active Craft Time: About 50 minutes

Supplied Needed:

6 Cardboard Letters : to spell “SWEETS”

1 can of General Purpose Spray Adhesive

1 jar of Martha Stewart Glitter (Any glitter will do – for color selection, I chose Martha Stewart)

1 jar pf Martha Stewart Tinsel Glitter (choose a complimentary color)

Drop cloth or cart sheet (I use an old canvas curtain)

optional: Plastic trash bag or wax paper (to keep the glue away from your curtain)

Instructions:

1. Find an area with lots of fresh air – outside is great for this :)

2. Lay out your first letter on the drop cloth (or throw a plastic bag over the cloth to protect from the glue & to help save glitter)

3. Spray evenly with adhesive about 8-12″ from the surface of your letter

4. Shake glitter from about the same height evenly across the surface of entire letter. Allow each letter to sit flat for a few minutes after glitter has been applied.

5. Repeat steps 3 & 4 until glitter appears even and covers the cardboard to your taste.

6. Use Tinsel glitter to thicken & add dimension. Very lightly spray adhesive over existing glitter & shake out as much tinsel glitter as needed to evenly cover the surface.

7. Allow the letters to dry overnight. Once dry, they can be carefully packed away to await your wedding day!

Here are some photos I took while creating this simple do-it-yourself project the first time:

I chose Bronze as my base because we stuck to neutral and blush tones throughout our wedding, then added a little glam with a complimentary jar of bright Kunzite tinsel glitter.

The home has nooks & crannies to boot – including a breathtaking spiral staircase, where we photographed her stunning dress & bouquet.

You might remember these two lovebirds from their funky & fun beach engagement session back in April.
